Two Strangers

Two strangers brought together by fate
were sitting worlds apart.
Danced together to the same tune
now have inter locking hearts.

These hearts are strong and full of love
but not the kind you think.
For these are two best friends
with an unbreakable link.

A break up made them stronger
illness made one weak.
But they were together through all this
a force that can not be beat.

Together they face uncertainty
and a cruel world.
But they stand tall as a unit
supporting one if they fall (?)

Two strangers brought together
major parts of each others world.
Living life together as friends
(I can't think of a final line)

  1. ok i'm no poet so ignore me if you wish :o)
In this one the second and last line of each paragraph rhyme? The final two paragraphs you are having the problem because you have chosen the word 'world' for both? so maybe you need to get rid of 'world' and replace it which something else?
    These are really good! xxx

  3. You could swap "Cruel" and "World" around so the line could be "in a world that is cruel"....

humpf, then you would need to find a rhyme for cruel.

When David Bowie wrote songs he used to cut up his lines and reorder them till he got something that worked...you could take "major parts of each others world." from the last verse and make it the last line of the penultimate verse. Good stuff btw :)
